gamers argue questions like "are video games art" but only "animation fans" r galaxy-brained enough 4 debates like "does animation need to be well-animated, or even well drawn - & who sez what makes a drawing 'good' anyway?"
just kidding-these assumptions aren't even challenged!
@SoulPatchanBuff it's EVEN WORSE than that!!!! I can actually see SOME evolution in Tim Buckley's art over 20 years! compare that to Family Guy, or any other obscenely expensively produced "animated sitcom" that's been around as long!!!!!!!
"Hazbin Hotel" isn't my kind of thing at all - BUT, you can look at it side-by-side with "Tuca and Bertie" & know IMMEDIATELY which was the REAL cartoon made by CARTOONISTS - & which was the typical FAKE cartoon made by HACK TV WRITERS!!!!!
@HotFurScience I don't get the appeal; it seems like they said "make it look like GTA art" only it's not as stylized as the early stuff and not as well-rendered as the modern stuff (and neither style was designed for animation)
coming in at nostalgia critic's no. 1 animaniacs of all time, they meet kirk douglas as michelangelo. because he played him in a movie. a reference
Can't imagine how Tom Ruegger got the idea to caricature Kirk Douglas into a cartoon, probably not from any John K cartoons, right?
Steven Spielberg had a great sense of humor & sharp instincts for what made a funny cartoon during the 90s animation renaissance. I can see why Nostalgia Critic et all celebrate his legacy in animation on their f*ggy YouTube channels
