PASSAGE TO SANCTUARY is a series of digital prints I produced through Mithril Publishing back in 1994. The artwork was created entirely on the computer. After printing, digital source files were destroyed.

With Robert Silverberg's manuscripts, I've found there's never a shortage of ideas or inspiration. That was the case again with HOT SKY AT MIDNIGHT, the third and last of the covers I illustrated for his books.

But maybe it's just me looking for my big break in Hollywood after pushing artist cameos on covers for years and years. 😉

I was aided in this part by Irene Gallo and the editorial staff at Tor. After conferring with Brandon, they agreed on a short list of key scenes for me to consider.

Irene sent those in an email accompanied by copious notes about characters, dress, and other necessary details.
