a closer look at Robbi when she's waiting to attack. like Ray, she's a bit more impatient.
Ray can turn is G. Busters into something akin to Mega Busters for attacks like his Big Tornado. I edited the "thrust" motion of the rpg maker MZ battler and made this. I might redo some of Mike's since I made more edits doing Ray since I'm getting the hang of these more.
Ray's battle sprites are coming along... just finished his guarding sprites. but I'm taking a break for a couple of hours. time to chill for a bit.
redid this to add moving hair (I was too tired last night to do it). it's 4 frames with the 2nd and 4th being the same. hard to believe this is based on the "wait" motion of the standard MZ battler for rpg maker when I look at it sometimes.
While other's wait their turn patiently in battle, Ray here points at the enemies and stares at the player... #rpg, #rpgmaker, #originalcharacter, #indiedev, #indiegame, #IndieGameDev
while I need to redo/refine/retweak action sequences... I'm really happy with the direction battle is going in now. the change with the sprites allows me to streamline A LOT and just make things way easier. I'm so happy right now. plus I'm still adding my own touches to stuff.
@sugargrasss these are both characters for an rpg I'm working on. the first is from around the beginning of last year and the second is a week or so ago.
Ok, last one lol. but really, I didn't think I was gonna like how these looked in an actual battle and well... I think this looked REALLY good. so I think I might shift to this style and redo my characters. it's not much of a redo since I did 14 sets of 3 frames today alone.
@Guld_TLC as of today I've just been drawing simple stuff like this... it's actually been pretty fun.
