Zoro study. Pre time skip. Studying pose and Reconstruction more. Also experimenting with lineless art and colored line art as well as curves in procreate.
*This is for study purposes* I do not own this character, all rights goes to Eichiro Oda, mangaka of one piece ✌️
This is explained in the 2012 book ALL YESTERDAYS (by @thejohnconway @cmkosemen and me) where we wonder how living animals MIGHT be reconstructed by INTELLIGENT CREATURES WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF MODERN DAY ANIMALS. Buy the book, it's a #palaeoart must-have.. https://t.co/Rt3EFHVGbl
The #AllYesterdays hippo is doing the rounds again. There are CAVEATS to this idea that are usually missed. The monstrous reconstructions are meant to apply to HYPOTHETICAL cases where those doing the reconstruction are unaware of soft tissue data and ignorant of mammal anatomy.
A surprisingly lovely story to go along with the Doman Enclave's Reconstruction. Also, a new possible glam.
"St. Patrick's Blessing" a fractal deconstructed and reconstructed out of 150,000 individual Bezier curves. The shamrock = 12,000 Bezier curves. #dianadeavila #fractalart #fractaldeconstructed #bezierart #synesthesia #acquiredsavant
EVERGROVE • “You’re pretty good at this, aren’t you?” - panther reconstructing dens and nectar dashing out the compliments 👏🏻 an oldie but I am still pleased w this quick one !!
False reconstructions of present-day animals by paleoartist C.M. Kosemen [swans, pelican, stork, elephant, rhinoceros, horse & baboon reconstructed just from their skeletal remains, similarly to dinosaurs and other extinct animals]: https://t.co/6W9z8biGuS
I have been commisioned to reconstruct Tyrannosaurus several times (and two more upcoming), more than any other dinosaur 😅. However, Microraptor is getting there. I have three upcoming commissions to reconstruct Microraptor. Here are two old ones #paleoart #sciart #dinosaurs
As a boy I was amazed at the work of Alan Sorrell. His reconstruction of Dirleton was the first image of its kind I ever saw. So I copied his techinque of boxing views a section at a time. I used (8 pence) Postcard images in the 80's then scaled up to A3 size (Tantallon example).
Little sunday study on light! Summary of what I’ve learned during the Aaron Blaise videos I watched today. NO reference used this time, wanted to see if my mind could reconstruct light by itself. I think I‘m pretty satisfied with the result ☀️

you know who else were called "outside agitators" by the "moderates" of the day? john brown and other radical abolitionists, who sought to overthrow slavery and enact a radical reconstruction, an effort thwarted by "moderates" who instead enabled the rise of jim crow
@El_Aleph87 @DrLavaYT I gave the image some enhancing in Photoshop Elements and attempted a full reconstruction in Procreate. Isn’t the Pichu supposed to be white? She looks more creamy or pale/faint yellow coloured in these videos 🤔
My new reconstruction of the spinosaurine dinosaur Oxalaia quilombensis for @Wikipedia! With overhauled anatomy based on the recent fossil finds for Spinosaurus. #palaeoart #paleoart #scientificillustration #museunacional #dinossauro #fossils 1/n
Ferocious #FossilFriday! Let me introduce you to the Late Miocene North American Eucyon ferox (previously Canis ferox), here in a wonderful #reconstruction by @FlaviaStrani.
Wanna know what its #diet was?
Read it in the work by me and Prof. Rook:

@FishGuyKai Don’t forget Rainerichthys (Rainer Zangerl) and like half of all eugeneodont genera are honorific too! (Reconstruction by Joschua Knuppe)
Now: "King Lear (Redacted and Reconstructed)," a poem by Julianne Neely @juleneely, the author of THE BODY BESIDE HERSELF (@SlopeEditions).

And now the reconstruction itself
Juvenile Guanlong wucaii based on a nearly complete paratype specimen (IVPP V14532).
Despite being well preserved it’s not very well described but I hope it’ll change in the future

#FossilFriday 🇧🇴This tiny interathere #notoungulate jaw from #Bolivia is now the holotype of a #newspecies, Juchuysillu ("small hoof" in Quechua) arenalesensis (the fossil site). Reconstruction by @VelizarSim w. a mesothere notoungulate behind it. Published in @ameghiniana
@TetZoo It's not unrecognizable as basilosaurus but also it's not very good
Reconstructions forget that it was a noodle shaped thing specialized for prey smaller than itself
