+Timelapse. Her dress is inspired by colour reconstructions of the Peplos Kore. There's a great example of that towards the bottom of what might be my favourite website ever: https://t.co/24CCaBvQjf
@Kalinius_ @arvalis @PressPauseCont @papagaeio @nameshiv Open areas would have been covered by other types of plants, yes. We actually have one site from the Late Cretaceous where a volcanic flow preserved a bunch of open areas in full detail. Here are some reconstructions of that site by Mary Parrish, and some of the fossils.
@juandertal There are indeed some moving ahead on this - @TomBjorklundArt is also very good on this (even though he does really like his brown!). If you do try to produce any reconstructions in this vein, I'd love to see them. I intend to write on this area on @Theextinctions
You may have never heard of Qman blocks, but in China they are officially licensed to create Pokémon constructions sets, including the PC and city buildings below! You can buy these at specialty toy stores like @BigBadToyStore that import them https://t.co/haAwR7HiN7
No one asked, but here it is* **
*i have rated Extinct animals as less organically inspired than extant animals since they are based on reconstructions
**Same goes for things that aren't cars, as time ships are hypothetical https://t.co/qByUDK0YNm

Zuct tape is a scrim-backed tape. There are a variety of constructions using different tapes, but the most powerful form is the one in the wall with a yellow banana.

The secrets are out now and here comes my most fav. page from The Last Asuran Vol 2. Loved working on this sequence and @gauravsketches did an amazing job with temple constructions.

Based on the description and reconstructions made based on the murals, codex vessels and clay figures by Daniel Parada (@Zotzcomic )
we shaped in this #WIP our own study of what a noble and commoner woman of #Yucatan would look like during the period of the Spanish #conquest
@Emily_Art I'm not sure if this counts, but the dragons in my Domeworld setting are based on various prehistoric life, with a particular love for weird/bad reconstructions. The flying stegosaur was actually a thing proposed at some point.

I just love how this book is loaded with all this overt pop culture references while at the same time boasting some darn fine paleoart scenes and reconstructions. Never thought I’d see something like this in a paleontology book.
Annex would be pretty cool if you leaned into gonzo manga action and had an artist who can do crazy visual constructions.
I've got a new batch of Paleo-Reconstructions:
Proterovaginoceras, Arctops, Barinasuchus, and Anchiceratops.
What a lovely TARDIS team this is. I’m doing a Troughton marathon and it’s like seeing his era for the first time. The brilliant animations and episode reconstructions have given me a whole new appreciation for his early stories. Thank you to everyone involved.😍#DoctorWho
Two of the 3D reconstructions I did for @museumnaturalis, arranged together in one shot. Trix the #Tyrannosaurus might be a bit too ambitious going after a nearly adult #Triceratops, but it sure makes for a dramatic pose 😅😁

went shopping...
apparently these were also made by the dude who made elevated deconstructions (230 eth floor and 200 supply)
these wave schematics have only 400 and only 3.3ish eth floor... it may be playground but those numbers say enough to me
Wow this paper really used dinosaur toys to estimate volume/mass and called them "scientifically accurate palaeoreconstructions".
