First work in series of lateral reconstructions I want to do. This is Pendraig milnerae (or "chief dragon"), a coelophysoid from late Triassic of Pant-y-ffynon Quarry, southern Wales.

This might be one of my better little reconstructions when treated in isolation. Based on latest analyses that place Meganthropus near Lufengpithecus, aka as an ape.

There is an unending menagerie of living species you could turn to for creative reconstructions that can be achieved while still remaining within the realms of possibility.

And even IF you end up reusing the same models, you can use diff patterning aesthetics to differentiate

The rounded edge that I added to the front of the top of the crest was artistic license. I thought it looked more aesthetically pleasing than other reconstructions, which leave that area flat.

redid the muscle reconstructions of cretoxyrhina i did a while back
skull is based on the reconstruction from Shimada (1997)
top is more conservative muscle anatomy based on alopias, lamna, and carcharias while the bottom is more based off of makos

Hosses ignite some primal fear in me. So I did some busts, some constructions, and some 5 min gestures.

A pair of Paleoart reconstructions: Telmasaurus and Squalodon.
Telmasaurus was a medium sized basal Varanoid (a stem-Monitor lizard if you will) from the Late Cretaceous Flaming Cliffs of Mongolia. Squalodon is a macropredatory Platanistoid whale from the Oligocene and Miocene.

Solution. Stuffed with plans, photos, reconstructions and keen observations, there's something here for everyone. (PS I have not been asked to "big up" this revised edition, it's just very well put together!) 3/3 END

+Timelapse. Her dress is inspired by colour reconstructions of the Peplos Kore. There's a great example of that towards the bottom of what might be my favourite website ever: https://t.co/24CCaBvQjf

Open areas would have been covered by other types of plants, yes. We actually have one site from the Late Cretaceous where a volcanic flow preserved a bunch of open areas in full detail. Here are some reconstructions of that site by Mary Parrish, and some of the fossils.

There are indeed some moving ahead on this - is also very good on this (even though he does really like his brown!). If you do try to produce any reconstructions in this vein, I'd love to see them. I intend to write on this area on

You may have never heard of Qman blocks, but in China they are officially licensed to create Pokémon constructions sets, including the PC and city buildings below! You can buy these at specialty toy stores like that import them https://t.co/haAwR7HiN7

No one asked, but here it is* **
*i have rated Extinct animals as less organically inspired than extant animals since they are based on reconstructions
**Same goes for things that aren't cars, as time ships are hypothetical https://t.co/qByUDK0YNm

Zuct tape is a scrim-backed tape. There are a variety of constructions using different tapes, but the most powerful form is the one in the wall with a yellow banana.

Right now Im doing a whole re-work of some of my good old chart reconstructions (like the recent Edestus vorax I published) in attempt to fix some of the old drawings in terms of anatomy and proportions, and now Omnidens and Aegirocassis are other renovated friends. Bar 10 cm

The secrets are out now and here comes my most fav. page from The Last Asuran Vol 2. Loved working on this sequence and did an amazing job with temple constructions.
