After the tricky and hard task of retopology, comes probably the easiest part of the project...getting the UV maps
Nothing too complicated, you just gotta signal which sections you want the software to generate your UV maps.
Since the sculpting process generates alot of geometry, you know what that means...RETOPOLOGY! :DDD
Not gonna lie, this was easily the hardest part of the project since it meant rebuilding the entire body model through the use of planes...and it was tyring as all heck

like, I went from spending weeks on retopologizing, to redoing the mesh in 30 seconds

I think I like box-model retopo-ing better than traditional face-extrusion. Box is on the right, took 3 hrs, face is on the left, 12 hours and still not done... (original sculpt wireframe in the middle)
I never feel like I'm doing retopo right.
I do like tho how the three meshes (original fluffy sculpt, cleaned tailless sculpt, and retopo) currently combine to look kinda' like a superhero outfit. X3

Worked on back armor and tail today, legs are the last thing to model before the dreaded retopology >:0
The past days I fixed him all up for animation - retopology, texturing, and then a whole proper rig with ik/fk switches?? who knew rigging would be so much fun!! I'm so thrilled to actually get to animate something I made entirely from scratch!!!
I started to texture,retopo but still I need to work more on the legs,feets,hands.
I got the whole thing Retopo'd now.
Left is the model after baking in the Normals/AO from the sculpt.
Right is the same exact model, just in blender with nothing baked in.

A leg has been created. The retopo took a bit, but it's satisfying how smooth and low poly it is. The whole thing is still under 30k tris.
Just missing lower arms/legs, and then only details/UV/baking/texturing/rigging/shading/animations left 😩 ... Better not think about it
After many trials and tribulations, I finally have gotten the model retopologized, at around 20k tris! The only compromise I had to make was the frills are now going to be a texture instead of a modeled object. The textures should be next!
