Retopology has begun! I’m trying a method by Nikolay Naydenov, and using ZBrush! So far I find it much more intuitive than other programs/methods I’ve tried. I’m making lots of progress much faster than I thought!

Working some more on my 3d model today. I just gotta do the trousers and boots (😱) and then I can move onto the retopology.

I love doing 3d art, but man 2d art has a lot faster gratification. >: )

So after i made the latest drawing i couldnt resist making the character in 3d, so far i think im done with the base mesh, next would be retopology then sculting details with multires

Nobody could've warned me enough about retopology -that stuff is time consuming and boooooring. I added a challenge and try to create as little lose parts as possible. Only things that are missing are boots and the axe. After that I can go into sculpting/detailing.

things seems to be working with placeholders, overall content with the base, time to learn blender and retopology now.........
also no worries, arms are in T pose in default, he just posing
also fingers will be closed, separated for now to make the process easier

Progress update: Have spent the last week preparing color ids, doing retopology, and working on the texturing progress of the cyber demon. I'm content with how the textures are turning out so far 🤔Will continue to polish these as I go!
