Do I know you? I recently participated to the italian paleoart contest putting together two extinct flightless birds from New Zealand, the Chatham penguin and the north Island moa.

Apteribis was a flightless ibis from Hawaii with tiny wings. Preserved feathers indicate it was mottled brown, suggesting it could be paedomorphic. With a long probing bill, it may have been Hawaii's equivalent of a kiwi. [3/n]

Thanks to human activities we lost roughly 10% of our bird diversity, most of which was endemic to islands. That's why many of these posts are filled with avifauna
In this case the club winged Xenicibis, Aptornis, Pachyornis and Dinornis.

Not all Megaloceros were giants, M. matritensis from Spain was a red deer-sized form adapted to warmer climates. Its antlers weren't as palmated, but the antler structure is the same. It probably evolved from the Central European species M. savini.

For the start of I'm just going to post some of the different artworks I've made representing insular fauna of the Mediterranean, which is the region I focus on the most.

Had some time to myself and so doodles some cute paleolithic/neolithic era things! A traditional mammoth bone hut, a carving of a mammoth, and some of the early domestic foods (wheat, eggs, and cheese). Cavemen have the best aesthetic!!

a cassowary looking at you in a bad way, maybe he sees you as food

Some more stuff for island fauna for
Aepyornis, Megaladapis, Deinogalerix and Thecodontosaurs. The last one is for me especially interesting because the animals not only lived on islands but were found in cave deposits.
