Day 1, Part 1: Saturn Girl

She has a ceratopsian head to act as a satellite dish of sorts for her powers. She also has a mouth that can’t form human words, so she speaks psychically to the rest of the team. Her colors are a combo of old costumes.

I've been anxious to post something like this, but as an aspiring I need to have a PNG of my avatar, so here it is. Version 1. No shenanagins, just a picture. As Chief of the Ceratopsian Tribe, I hope to meet people, make friends, and improve as a person and artist.

I once had this weird idea to give ceratopsians an inflatable nasal septum like hooded seals, based on 's nose balloon idea. I never finished the artwork I was making for it.

2 things I recently learned:

1) Einiosaurus was named for the Blackfoot word for buffalo.
2) In the 70s a paleontologist proposed that ceratopsian frills were fused into body muscle: https://t.co/xdFNUAb465

Hence: Buffalo lizard. He enjoys grass and goes well with bleu cheese.

The Yucatan hardface is a fairly typical ceroprosopid metaceratopsian. These omnivores can grow up to 400 kg though average individuals are closer to 250. This species is particularly notable for its multiple horns and brightly coloured facial ceratin sheet.

Another illustration of one of my favorite ceratopsians Diabloceratops eatoni (Devil horned face) from the Late Cretaceous, Campanian Age 79.9- 72.2 million years ago. From Utah, USA, with only a well preserved skull to represent the species. Art by Raul Ramos. 🤓🐉

@/triceratopsian really helped me out with the patterning and anatomy, thank you so much!
