Got the retopo for the face done!!! Does anyone know if I should go ahead and join the tongue/teeth to the head sculpt and retopo those in one piece or keep them separate? The ultimate goal is to texture, rig, and animate this!

Finally, for one last unifying layer of texture, I overlaid the whole thing with this color-adjusted watercolor wash, set to "overlay" at 75% opacity. I'm really happy with how this one turned out and I hope this thread gives you some ideas for your own work!

This book has so much texture, especially when music is happening. I made a bunch of abstract boards with random drybrush techniques and chaotic stuff to add to art and then inverted and adjusted the colors in PS. This layer is set to "lighten" with 48% opacity.
