9/ Now these were EXTREMELY specific, again. Less specific things are easier to do in SD. This angel here looks better than all three pieces up in the thread. And it took only maybe 20 renders/reseeds and a single starting composition.

Ohhhhh we have an answer! U1 was a self insert character based on one of the DDR composers, Yuuichi Asami! And then he just gave himself a cool shadow duplicate because why not? Yay!
Cool that they returned in future games but its a shame 2mb isn't a literal shadow anymore.
