So this is my first character modelling practice without a tutorial, and it's also my second character model ever. I know it's nowhere near perfect, but I'm kinda proud of myself. It's way less wack than I thought it would be.

Sketches for this beast! I really liked the idea of showing it from the perspective of a Drannith soldier, but in the end we went with something a bit more classic.

I modelled the bat's head in Zbrush to help figure out how it would actually look when lit!

slardar's base mesh is so fuckin awkward I had to rip his head and arms off just to see what I was modelling.

Thanks! I'm really not good at sculpting so I modelled it from a cube - it's not the cleanest but the subdivision modifier makes it much smoother! 😃

Every model has to start somewhere and this is the first setting out of the Eternal Super Shotgun. I haven't been able to extract the mesh using Doom Resource Extractor yet but it doesn't stop me cracking on with it.

I wanted to try modelling a bust in blender so I decided to make Alucard. It took way too long and it's not perfect, but I found out hair can be really fun to make in blender.

so i did a little something to get around how glowing sprites render through additive world brushes & models, i modelled out a fake lamp glow & it actually renders how it should (this is for low detail areas, background sets, etc only)
