D is for Dromaeosauridae!
One could argue that this one is a cheat, depending on how you define “Bird”. One could also argue that this is my thread and I get to make the rules, so there.

Added some (purely speculative) coloring. The 's red stripe is a nod to the book Raptor Red.

's. And it's not just Velociraptor: the way he represents dromaeosaurids as diverse and unique is something very few achieve on this level, imho. That's what makes each one special to me. Not being too JP-influenced nor too neat/tidy/falcon-like is also great for me

Either Deinonychus, Utahraptor, or Achillobator. I just love dromaeosaurids.

I do fantasy art, paleoart and comics. Right now some of my favorite subjects are moths, dragons, and dromaeosaurids.

Panciraptor is a mutated being, result of a dromaeosaurid that has succumbed to the the ▇▇ virus.
The body is round and covered in soft, white feathers. Generally friendly, can turn hostile if provoked. Feeds on Maple Syrup. Can infect other living beings if able to hug them.

dromaeosaurid either velociraptor or deinonychus.
Fun fact the "velociraptors" in Jurassic park are more like deinonychus but without feathers. Real velociraptors ae no bigger than turkeys.

I forgot what the name of this Mongolian dromaeosaurid is, can anyone remind me? It's the one whose name starts with T and means "White"
