Pretty much just GIMP. I activate the layers and save one frame at a time and once done I put them all together in a gif. Depending on the layers I can have it as a 12 frame loop, but if it's more complex like the Jun dream one it can be longer

Since I draw using mouse, my process is a compendium of ways to make it less painful. I do my sketches in traditional, then I make the lineart using vectorial graphics (using Krita, Inkscape or LibreCad) and then I paint in Krita. Finally, I do some editing with GIMP.

I conducted more experiments in XPS and GIMP. This time, Zhu Ran's eye color. Before anyone says anything, I chose green because it would be very easy to see the change take. That said, it kinda looks cool in my opinion.

Gimp is a very good art program that is VERY mouse friendly. so if its you're thing, please use gimp. It is free and easy to use.

I primarily use the Morph Tool and the results are phenomenal
