(Progress 5) Working on a lighting engine. My literal first attempt at mixing a light with the ground tiles underneath and I'm extremely happy with how it looks already! 😁😁😁

(Progress 4) Working on a lighting engine. Change: energy loss when bouncing; less energy at wide angles. Impact: more contrast between direct/indirect light; softer borders between bounce lights 🔦

(Progress 3) Working on a lighting engine. Updates: Light bounces off the wall in *every* direction within a certain angle; removed all raycasts instead marching pixels for collision. Much cleaner!😇#gamedev

(Progress 2) Working on a lighting engine. Moved the light, shortened the range, and increased the ray count. Looks much better! Gotta iron out those random streaks though😬

My first attempt at an extremely basic inspired lighting engine. It just spits out 200k rays from the point light at the top right, let's them bounce around a bunch, and gathers the results into a texture.
