The goal was to create a portrait for the protagonist, I decided to double the original sprite's head and reinterpret it in higher resolution. Wrong choice, used no reference, I don't know how the hair got this crazy. 🤷‍♂️

So - I've always done my pixelart in magicavoxel - however, someone recently convinced me to try Aseprite - still trying to figure out all the basis, but I think it's pretty cool...
