This the wonderful Crystal Artfield- “Contemporary feminist artist inspired by the female body, nature, animals, identity, and cycles. Using art to normalise menstruation: colour, texture, fluidity, inconsistency. A personal response”.
@DadMoonstruck Also have him look at @Jontofski’s work to see how a brush pen can give a line with a lot of texture, contrast and personality; Jonathan constantly experiments with his techniques 👍
@ArthShahverdyan Paige Kilcullen, freelance illustrator and designer ♥️
I do a lot of different styles but love playing with color, texture, and combining horror and feminine subject matter and imagery.
Tried a new way to color. There's a bit less tint/variance/texture, but it's faster than the previous one.
You could almost say it's... Simple and Clean.

Thanks for the photo and for being a #healthcarehero @seak11
I tried a new method to get abstract and add some texture, hopefully it doesn’t make it too busy. You can see if you zoom in.

Reworking the goblin, since I wanted to make it a race, I thought I'd start making a base texture, I gave it more minecrafty colors made the body stick out a bit a gave the ears a little push
ShigaDabi's little baby gremlin 🖤
Name - Shinatou
Age - 5
Quirk - Cremation and Decay
Appearance - soft silver, snowy locks but wild and rebellious in texture, red eyes like fresh split blood and the trademark Shimura beauty spot

@f5kn For graphics tricks, how about this one?
The left is the graphics as laid down in the tileset and on the screen table. The right is how it is presented through scrolling tricks. Besides not having to draw the texture, it saves on tiles because the triangular shape is simpler.
Although the artwork's done, i tested out some adjustment to make the illustration better like texture, color range, and blur. Maybe i should try some in the next artwork.
Figured while I was doing a sketch v final might as well share a timelaspe too. I really wanted to experiment with texture, but not everything really worked out. I think everything looks a little too plain and generic. I guess there's always next time though

Sorry I'm taking so long on these. My markers dried up in the middle of working on this. It did help with a bit of a grainy texture, but I just wish I could have made it more consistent.
Patlabor 2 (Mamoru Oshii, 1993) sculpts the franchise into a pensive, nuanced political thriller. A precursor to Ghost In The Shell in tone and texture, the film simmers with conspiratorial suspense. Its climactic Labor battle is a claustrophobic tactical affair
Finallzed character design from #globalgamejam2021 (sketches in last tweet)
Went through some color variations before landing on the second image, with an old photograph texture, which informed the game's overall aesthetic.
I might post some more #ggj21 stuff later
Several quick landscape painting study I did daily.
It's nice to learn how texture, color, and shapes affect each other.

It took longer than I expected to texture, but I fricking love this so much! A Rockruff Model for @solidstomak! Base Model by @EeveeHobbert

@Money1473 I'm using Brawl Box. 1st pic is the raw model/texture, second is with the shader/mats(include only albedo & skin shading settings atm).
if u mean default zss, she doesn't have her color because of the vertex coloring. enabling it makes her body black. not sure how to fix atm
I've been playing around with texture, especially on drawing rocks. You can't control everything with stark contrast and repetitive lines, so gotta leave some of the work for the colors #balance #findit #artwork #comicbooks #americandischorddotcom
After going through all this trouble to model, texture, skin, and rig a simple custom VRChat avatar, I feel even more strongly that 3D artists should be paid at least as well as software engineers in the games industry.
Like, come on. This stuff is hard as hell.
