The next #dinosaur of my #lancian series; #Acheroraptor. Among the youngest dromaeosaur genera, Acheroraptor was likely similar in size and perhaps ecological niche to the more famous Asian genus; #Velociraptor.
@DustinGrowick im a huge fan of all dromaeosauridae but my top two would be the iconic Velociraptor, or the underrated Microraptor!!!

Also I believe (it might just be rumors) that Atrociraptor was mean to be Urahraptor but they scrapped it.
Still really sucks since giant feathered dromaeosaurs are just as scary and awesome as jp’s

Little tribute to outdated raptors (+ old depictions of dinosaurs in general), because i love them. I myself draw feathered dromaeosaurids left and right, but i find the retro critters still cool, nevermind any inaccuracy. 🦖
@DelonTrusk @AxelSauro No, I think you've mixed something up. This animal is called Vegavis. Velociraptor is the little desert dromaeosaur.
@FelkinMak Big brain grad boy gets to be a big brain dino boy! Pyroraptor olympius was a member of the Dromaeosaurid family, well known for having the biggest brains of the dinosaurs. Just so you don’t get too big for your britches, know they were only half a meter tall!
And bro I lost my shit seeing the megaraptor on screen for the first time and this was back in the day when we thought it was a massive dromaeosaur with it's giant claw and that concept was THE MOST SICK SHIT as a kid
