I used this to practice shading cuz I haven’t been really happy with how I used to shade. I’m pretty happy how this came but it’s still not the best :)

Tried my hand at digital art. Though I still had to sketch out the initial pieces irl and then take a pic to then trace, color, and shade. They aren't the best but I'm pretty proud of hoe they turned out considering it's my first time. Also I did em on my phone.

Day 20 - Favorite hair color

Im kinda stressed with school so i didn't have time to shade. I have test exams this week so thats stressing. But yeah the ginger hair looked so great on Minx

I made a comparison for a point that I will be good for you to learn. Try to avoid shading by just darkening a color, but instead using shifted colors to shade. It will make your colors much richer.

Also, don't be afraid of shading hair by adding more detail to the shading.

Revisiting “Om, the Ethereal of Vibration” in the last two years. A great way to keep the work flowing and also chart my own progress. I managed to paint each version of Om in different shades of blue. It’s pretty cool how lighting can dramatically alter a color’s shade.
