Capcom is absolutely masterful at what I'm talking about. They exaggerate the hell out of an illustration, but make it feel perfectly natural. It's only when you out on your thinking cap that you notice "holy crap those hands are HUGE"

Compare that photo to Yusuke Kozaki's beautiful portraits for No More Heroes 1&2 (2007 & 2010). The foot sits like a visual anchor in the photo. But in the NMH illustrations the exaggerated perspective leads your eye smoothly across the entire composition.
