Proximity Merge live on the actual hair (only 1 section so far.) Its also masking out the internal faces where the bundle edges line up. This will solve the internal faces that were screwing up my shading and Freestyle Lines.

For the muscle/bone growth stuff I handmade (sculpt + curves) the main section, then used some animnodes and particles to make the ligaments connecting to the outside

reference image, with geo-nodes I can possibly create a point system that instances different volumes to create the cloud shape and even have bonus shapes for the drips and the tree's. Need to research more into Geo nodes. if anyone knows any good videos let me know
