100% agreed!! like it's amazing how much fanart can rocket your progress in overdrive; these are each a year apart, year 1 (tris) to 2 (wolf) I did minimal fanart, year 2-3 (a/c) it's been mostly fanart and I've literally never found art (original or fan) more fun than i do now
