AGAIN BOTW is the closest to SAO in terms of aesthetic. The lighting, the textures, it's not dead on but it's as close as anything has ever been. SAO has always looked incredible in their environments and use of color, to try for realism would be a sin.

The attempt was using textures/transparent background things and using them to create a horror-esc thing. I wouldn't explain all the dumb meanings behind em here I just like how they turned out.
