To replace it they drew over the spot in dark green instead of black for some reason. While it's not all that noticable in normal gameplay, you can see it if you look closely at the sprite or by brightening it. (2/2)

I would argue that both Elena and Dudley had more realistic black features in their artwork compared to their ingame sprites

(Also both of them kick serious ass IMO, I main them alongside Alex, Rémy and Yun in SF3)

Both styles so far were very difficult. Spectral Gene references were PS2 and DS Sprites, which are low-quality. CE had guest characters that made consistency hard.
