This issue even had a still somewhat-rare variant cover, by Ladronn!
Going from 2 years of the Casey/Ladronn run straight to The Rob returning must have been some serious tonal whiplash. Complete with the Berto/Gideon partnership from waaaaay back in early X-Force!
@TalkingSuperman I'd love to see a handful of pages from-
Steve Skroce
Jose Ladronn
Dan Hipp
Chris Bachalo
X-Men reread was going to be this genuine turd next but then I remembered I have the Robinson/Casey/Ladronn Cables to read. Phew!!!
Cable #55 cover dated June 1998.
The master assassin Domino is finally back to get under Cable’s skin…and if she's lucky, she’ll be around for a long time! See the sparks fly between these two.
By Joe Casey & Jose Ladronn.
@bigblueUel @HaikuComic Yes he did, 3 of the 4 issues with Carlos Pacheco writing it, and while it's not all four issues by Ladronn it doesn't take away from such amazing work, and it's still the best Inhumans comic to be done, with a close second being the Jenkins/Lee maxi-series.
Jose Ladronn and Joe Casey's run on Cable is mind bottling. Like it has my brain and wont give it back.
Doing a week of Jose Ladronn posts on IG because he rules. So hard.

Ladronn and Casey's Cable run is an absolute epic. Ladronn just goes off.
When I was picking up Cable duron Ladronn's run, it never failed -- almost every issue had a guest character that I would've wanted Ladronn to do more with.
I'd like to see a short return to the batshit crazy Jack Kirby Black Panther run with his art.
