St. Bernardine of Siena (1444)
He entered the Order of St. Francis at twenty-two. He condemned usury, superstition, and the sin of homosexual acts in the most severe terms. He started the devotion to the Holy Name of Jesus, and held the IHS monogram in his hand when preaching.
Its fun to throw Cthulhu around, here’s my first attempt to capture the essence of cosmic horror… the paper thin-veneer of our daily lives hiding an incomprehensible reality below, fate/inevitability, superstition, madness… #aiart #digitalart #cosmichorror #aiartcommunity
The Deck
Still working on a title. But it's a fully now oracle deck based on my setting. Currently it has 20ish cards, still expanding. Each card tells a story of the world through context of folklore, superstition, mysticism, and occultism in that world.

In #folklore/#foodlore, to consume the food/drink of the fae is a dangerous act. Many fairy tales and Gothic fantasies draw upon this superstition, including 'Childe Rowland', 'Goblin Market' (1862), & 'Pan's Labyrinth' (2006) #FolkloreThursday
The nursery rhyme "One for Sorrow" was originally about magpies, but there are many variations about crows, jackdaws, & other birds. According to superstition, the number of birds you see determines what kind of luck you'll have. #FairyTaleTuesday
"Borscht" is the codename for a personal pet project - a gothic romance inspired by superstition, folklore, e.a.poe & a few historic accounts of nefarious noblemen & women. I wrote its first two themes when i was a teen, began real work on it 4 yrs ago, and it'll take me 4 more.
