Is there anyone out there who fancies some half-price landscape cards? I have a pile of them in my @indy_prints shop just now, including this one of the Ring of Brodgar. https://t.co/PvcSmIp4Zw
I spent a week on Orkney, um… some time ago. (I was taught to pronounce Stromness with an 'i' not 'e'.) The Ring of Brodgar was a highlight of the visit. Also, I like to make artistic coloured versions of my landscapes.
Today's lockdown drawing is the amazing Ring of Brodgar at sunset in Orkney plus a wee skein of geese (and NO Boris!), all mashed up into a railway poster. You're welcome. xx
And speaking of #visual approaches to #archaeology ... wait till you've seen "#Lugi: The #BrodgarBoy" - a new #animated feature film by illustrator Alex Leonard and @ALTAnimation set in #Neolithic #Orkney!

The Ness of Brodgar looks set to play a major role in a new animated film set in Orkney over 4,000 years ago - and the team are striving to be as archaeologically accurate as possible: https://t.co/tS34a1bFHq

Wow! Look at this from the Ring of Brodgar on Orkney this evening. I wonder if it will be the same in the north east later. Great shot from Graham Bradshaw!
