Daily #Blender Tip: Let's add some panel cuts in Sculpt Mode using the crease brush. We can reduce the geometry with a decimate modifier and still get clean panel cuts using Dyntopo, which automatically adds geometry where needed. #B3D More tips & PDF: https://t.co/4q3NW3MNxj
Using Dyntopo in Blender to sculpt defined areas of the game world. Using a top-down bounds projection to sketch painted land textures. Experimenting with importing sculpted landforms from #SculptrVR on Quest 2. 🌕💀👻🎃🌠 #indiegamedev #NotSSGame #Blender3d #screenshotsaturday
Progress on the sculpt... this is probably good enough for a dyntopo sculpt, next stage is retopo!
(none of these shaders are final but it's hard to get a sense of how it compares with the drawing without comparable shaders)
@imaginerd3d Sculpting character with dyntopo is my greatest joy 😄😍 like this last guy
@goldenaxebremen Modeling some open world regions in Blender for my spooky game. Did a snowy forest region & developed a quicker iterative workflow (Dyntopo, UV from view-Bound projection, texture painting). 🌕💀👻🎃🌠 #indiegamedev #madewithplaymaker #madewithunity #NotSSGame #screenshotsaturday
🥳Sculpting "Shirogane Mag" Helmet part around 60% done
1.2m faces is quite struggle on my pc though. :P
😂
also first time on Dyntopo on @blender_org good tool, abit confuse but it all good!!

DynRemesh 2.5 is a quad-based remesher for #b3d 2.8, assisting in retopology for your dyntopo sculpts & 3d scans containing too many tris. Includes support for QuadriFlow, which is a scalable algorithm for generating quadrilateral surface meshes. https://t.co/fwonyECymk

Combo of draw brushing & vertex pushing. love Dyntopo for this #Blender3d #digitalart

Re-applying multires and re-sculpting without dyntopo to get rid of the bumps. Still nowhere near how I want it but don't think I can actually get any cleaner lines 😥
I guess that's why I stick to 2D.
Someone quick ones, and nothin too great, but I wanted to see how sculpting felt in blender 2.8 after using zbrush for the last art challenge.
Turns out, I still like it more than zbrush.
the chest was made with a default sphere, wanted to see if I could get away without dyntopo
