I don't actually mind greebles in theory. In fact, my own costume designs tend to have a lot of them - because I personally really enjoy drawing lots of straps and buckles and pouches and stuff.

Spent some time today adding more detail the spaceship illustration for . Greebles, floor texture, little pin lights so the ship can illuminate itself - something I used to love from 70s and 80s miniature effects shots

very excited to be just starting a doom / titanfall inspired FPS game because we are going to try to go for AAA inpired ultra detail!

we'll use the "low poly blockmesh with many quad decals for fake geometry detail" approach* for rivets/trims/greebles

Changed up the headset design a bit. The other was a bit too topheavy for this project in the end. This is basically just random greebles, but I wanted a lot of edges for interesting shading+lineart. There's still some funky camera things though.
