These big boys are the large variants of normal Hammer Bros. In addition to throwing sledgehammers in the usual arc, they can slam their fat mass on the ground to cause an earthquake. Snot used to drop from their nose, but they've learned to sniff it up.

Smash's favorite Koopaling. The only girl of the seven siblings usually rules over the ocean worlds. She can throw her bracelets as projectiles that bounce off the walls, and is obsessed with wealth and fame. Things won't go well if she doesn't get her way.

These Boos take advantage of being incorporeal by creepily crawling on solid surfaces, popping in and out when you least expect. They only use specific white blocks in SMB3, but now they can stick themselves onto anything, making them even more of a surprise…

Giant Cheep Cheeps like these come up to the surface to look for prey. The small but razor-sharp teeth of the males ensure that the prey dies as soon as it's caught. Females, called Big Berthas, don't have that trait, and use their mouths to hold their young.

As the largest Koopaling, Morton can ground pound and shake the ground around him. He's usually the boss of the desert. In one fight, he swings a hammer at a Pokey, using its body segments to attack. He's not the smartest of the bunch, but he doesn't care.

These mole-like mechanics hide in the floors of airships, throwing their wrenches at any intruders they spot when popping out. They used to wear turtle shells to match the rest of the Koopas, but they eventually got rid of those uncomfortable accessories.
