052. Boo
Have you ever felt like… you're being watched? Been afraid of any ghosts following you around? If you can overcome that fear and look them right in the eye, these shy spirits will cower in place. Yet, some Boos have worked up the courage to join the cast in sports.

049. Pile-Driver Microgoomba
Microgoombas sometimes hide in Brick Blocks for protection, leaping high into the air and slamming back down to attack. They hide within large and irregular block structures to blend in, but you can distinguish them if you look closely.
🦋
048. Larry
As the the leader and the youngest of the Koopalings, Larry is usually the boss of the first world. He looks up to his siblings and always tries to keep up with their skills and power, but his attack patterns end up being predictable and easy to defeat.
🦋
047. Boom Boom
One of the largest and strongest Koopas aside from Bowser himself, this mad lad leads the Troop's airship fleet and guards many of the fortresses. He attacks by swinging his big strong arms. He'd probably be invincible if only his shell protected his head.
🦝
046. Dry Bones
The skeletons of Koopa Troopas can rise from the dead with some mysterious magic. While they usually only takes a stomp for it to fall apart, they always find a way to magically reassemble as if nothing happened. Some of them even throw their own bones.
🦋
044. Microgoomba
These teeny tiny spores usually appear in groups, and can latch onto Mario to weigh him down and limit his jump height. They're sometimes used as ammunition by mother Paragoombas, but are also able to scamper around on their own like regular Goombas.
🦝
043. Paragoomba
The second enemy to gain a winged variant, these fiendish fungi use their wings to hop low to the ground and keep you on your toes. In SMB3, the ones that hop are more red than brown, but there are brown ones that fly up into the sky and drop Microgoombas.
🦋
042. Fire Piranha Plant
Also called Venus Fire Traps, this variant of Piranha Plant is able to shoot fireballs from its mouth. Super Mario Bros 3 introduced Piranha Plants living places other than pipes, the first example being some of these in quicksand.
🦝
041. Wart
This giant frog is the head of a ruthless, dream-crushing gang that kidnapped the people of Subcon. The people reached out to Mario through his dream as a last resort. Wart absolutely hates vegetables–not the most convenient trait in a kingdom that's full of them.
