Cats is apparently getting negative reviews from critics. Just reminds me that the animated version that was made in the 90s should’ve been revived and released. Oh well. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Here are some early sketches of Rosie from A Bug's Life. These were made back in 1996, a year after Pixar released Toy Story and the same year they stopped making commercials and went exclusively into making feature films.

The animation of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse wouldn't have happened had it not been for Paperman. The short essentially started the hand-drawn and CG animation combinations and led way for other studios to use that process in their future film.

Disney has announced the premiere date of The Owl House. It will premiere on January 10th. Also, the show has been greenlit for a second season as well. Exciting news!

I seriously hope Disney releases its HD remaster of A Goofy Movie on digital platforms and on Blu-Ray in stores. They really polished up the movie and I want it to be more accessible since you can only get the film in HD through their movie club.

I want to give some appreciation to John Hubley. His use of limited animation as well as simple designs that he pioneered brilliantly at UPA are really innovative and his work such as in Gerald McBoing Boing, Rooty Toot Toot, and the prologue to Watership Down show his talent.
