Just a reminder that the new Nickelodeon cartoon It's Pony premieres today. I want to see this show succeed, so if you're curious enough, I highly recommend checking it out. It's the best Nick cartoon we've gotten since The Loud House and really reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes.

I found some early concept art from Onward. It looks so gorgeous. I can't wait to see it!

Here are some early versions of Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove drawn by Andreas Deja. Deja was going to be her animator when the film was still the Kingdom of the Sun, but when the project was revamped into a comedy Deja left the film and Dale Baer animated her instead.

Apparently according to some organizations, watching The Owl House means you support witchcraft. Wow, that is just so stupid. Do they realize that this isn't the 1600's anymore and that's just a cartoon? Give me a break. Also on a side note, I'm excited to watch The Owl House.

101 Dalmatians still has one of the craziest car chases in an animated film. This scene also really shows how insane Cruella De Vil is.

We have four animated movies that are coming to streaming services this year with Farmageddon, The Willoughbys, and Over the Moon coming to Netflix and Wolfwalkers to Apple TV+. I'm excited to see all of them!

Here is some concept art of Mr. Link (Susan) from Missing Link by Max Narcisco. I really love how well the team at Laika were able to turn these drawings of him and make him look fantastic as a stop motion puppet.

Here is some concept art of the titular hidden world in the third How to Train Your Dragon. Even though the world was barely seen, it was still one of the most stunning animation worlds I saw last year. It made my jaw drop.

I'm eagerly excited to see Nimona in a few years which is the next animated film Blue Sky will make. It'll be directed by Mark Osborne who made the Disney short Feast and is based on the Noelle Stevenson graphic novel and Stevenson has said the concept art she's seen looks great.
