I do love how John Musker and Ron Clements made cameos in their own animated movies.

One significant example of how Disney's animation and character designs really improved over time is how the deer were made more realistic and expressive between Snow White and Bambi. I really believe animation research seriously can help improve artists draftsmanship.

The colors in these Ratatouille concept art is really eye popping. I think Pixar really captured the colors of Paris down to a tee.

Domee Shi really is destined to be a fantastic director at Pixar. The artwork she has done is simply wonderful to look at.

It's interesting looking at the old concept art of Luimere, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast since they looked different (and a little creepier) compared to their final designs. I'm glad the animators gave them a warm and friendly look in the final film.

I thought it would be fun to make another poster for #TheLoudHouse Movie. This one actually is my favorite one I made because I just love the insanity in it.

Disney artist Brittney Lee has made some really fantastic art and really has a Mary Blair vibe to it. No only did she contribute to designs for Anna and Elsa from Frozen, she's also done some art for older Disney films like Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid.

With Christmas around the corner, my fantastic artist and great friend @NickTheIrkenArt created me an awesome new profile picture for the holidays! I was going to wait until the first of December to post it, but I couldn't wait so I'm doing it now!

I do love how the animation for Knowsmore in Ralph Breaks the Internet does have some traditional animation for his eyes which Disney used so he could emote how they wanted. The animation for him was also influenced from animation by one of the Nine Old Men, Ward Kimball.
