Looking back on Pixar's scrapped film Newt, at times I do wonder wether or not it would've been better than Rio which had an identical plot. I do really like Rio, but it's curious to think how Newt would've turned out.

Dumbo probably has without a doubt some of the cutest artwork I've ever seen. These are simply adorable!

I found some fantastic concept art of Kubo and the Two Strings drawn by Lou Romano, (you may know him as being the voice actor for Linguini from Ratatouille and Bernie in The Incredibles [the "Coincidence, I think not" guy"]).

The Lion King concept art is simply jaw dropping. This is some of the most stunning concept art I've ever seen. Period.

One reason I really don't want to see The Loud House Movie in CGI apart from the character designs not working that way is that it would lose the comic strip influence to it. To put it in 3D form would lose the paper quality backgrounds as well as the stand out character designs.

I'm so happy that this concept art of Wall-E actually became a shot in the final film. It's such a beautiful image to look at.

Alice in Wonderland has amazing concept art from artist Mary Blair. I honestly prefer these over the original illustrations in the book because of how zany and colorful they are.

The Looney Tunes short Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century is one of the most famous cartoons in history. In fact, George Lucas actually wanted this short to be played in front of Star Wars back in 1977 believe it or not.

I still feel that Horton Hears A Who is the best Dr. Seuss movie mainly because Blue Sky actually did understand the book and didn't add to much unnecessary stupid stuff. Also, the animation looked liked Seuss and the concept art is also amazing to look at.

One of the most impressive pieces of rotoscoping in animation is Cruella De Vil's car in 101 Dalmatians. The Disney artists actually built a cardboard model of it and then rotoscoped the lines of it onto an animation cel.
