Unlike their other counterparts in Sonic media, Silver and Blaze have never actually met at any point during the pre-252 canon. It’s unknown if there were any plans on having them interact before the reboot took place.
Sonic Mega Collection is known for featuring the covers of every comic released during it’s release in a massive gallery.
But some issues, such as #104 were edited to avoid Copyright problems. Since it’s clearly parodying Marvel’s "Guardians Of The Galaxy".

"Albion", the birthplace of the Echindas' civilization; shares heavy similarities to Great Britain. With it’s placement on Mobius’s map and history as reaching a state of technological advancement before other nations. Including it’s name being ancient Greek for Britain.
If you look closely at the far right of the promotional artwork for the Sonic Comic Encyclopedia, you can see a hidden glimpse of Dr. Eggman's prototype design! That moustache and PJ's are a dead-ringer!
Lightning Lynx denied his honour and happiness with the Raiju Clan, his banishment giving way to a hate-filled path of vengeance. A moment which adds tremendous depth to what many people considered a forgettable character.

While Mephilies The Dark is confirmed to exist in Archie Sonic’s canon by the Mobius Encyclopedia, he’s apparently "off-limits". But, a version of him did appear during Scourge: Lockdown (SU #29-32) as an inmate.
In #290, Sonic mentions how he had an adventure regarding a being known as "The Time Eater". Implying the events of Sonic Generations did occur within the reboot's canon.
This was before Forces had retconned "Classic Sonic" as being from an alternate dimension.
Besides Blaze The Cat, Nicole The Holo Lynx is the only female Sonic character who has their own "super form". Being Overclocked Nicole in the post-reboot canon.
