Bunnie Rabbot versus the roboticized "Mecha Sonic", from the well known story arc illustrated by Patrick Spaziante himself, "Mecha Madness".

Although Emerl wouldn’t make an actual appearance in the mainline Archie series beyond a simple flashback ( #271 ), they did get a few issues to themselves for Sonic X’s comic starting with issue 8.

Sally’s Ring-Blades that are associated with her redesign are actually based off of her roboticized self’s weapons from the pre-reboot continuity.

One of the clone Sonics in Sonic X’s twenty-fifth issue is based off of his classic design, this comic was published in 2007. Many years before Sonic Generations was announced!

As way of celebrating Sonic Jump’s anniversary, here are a few pages from a short comic made for promoting the game by Archie.

In every issue of the Tails mini-series, they would start off with a comic written and drawn by Tails himself in-universe. Starring a made up character that’s intentionally based on himself, called "Captain Super Fox-Man".

In the comics, Ray The Flying Squirrel typically wore a blue jacket as a update of his original design. However, he would undergo a change in wardrobe much later on it’s run.
