Who doesn’t enjoy looking at Eternity? Comic book visual creativity at its best...
Taskmaster! Created by David Michelinie with a great design by George Perez, the villain originally confounded the Avengers & was a Bronze Age nuisance to Ant-Man among others. Tony Masters’ photographic reflexes helped train thugs & criminals. His past is more complicated now.
I never followed “The Eternals” or “Devil Dinosaur” back in the 1970s during Jack Kirby's return to Marvel, but these double page splashes are outstanding! Kirby still had it!
Steve Ditko designed strange and interesting art for his run on ROM Spaceknight. With finishes by the likes of John Byrne, Tom Palmer, P. Craig Russell, Al Milgrom, Joe Sinnott, Bob Layton and more, it is worth a long look. @BronzeAgeBabies @AaronMeyers @LostInTime74 @DallanB
Thanos at his absolute worst! <heh heh> @BronzeAgeBabies @DallanB @Walker_KM @ComicsintheGA @Charlton_Hero @ChrisJRuss @jeffs_comics @conrad_eric @jamorrisrva @GregWoronchak Enjoy the movie!
Screaming Mimi’s evolution into the heroine Songbird (through the Thunderbolts) was an extremely creative handling of a very minor character by Marvel! Outstanding work by Busiek and Bagley! @BronzeAgeBabies @MarvelDailyArt @ComicsintheGA @Charlton_Hero @BTPBlog @jeffs_comics
The heroines of Alpha Flight are underrated. A handful of different Bronze Age creations that worked well on an oddball team. Unique personalities and motivations. Heather, Aurora, Snowbird, Marrina, Talisman. @marvelinthe80s @BronzeAgeBabies @BTPBlog @ComicsintheGA @DallanB
