#NowWatching Takeshi Koike’s REDLINE. So many of my favourite #FilmTwitter folk recommended this one to me for #AniMAY so I’m really excited to check it out. Koike’s art style is so unique & supposedly this film is a brain-meltingly slick & stylised extravaganza!!! #anime #japan

The use of colour in this show is out of this world! Some of the fight scenes are almost hallucinatory as they overload the frame with bursts of brilliant bright light! I’m really digging it! #DemonSlayer #DemonSlayerKimetsuNoYaiba

Well THE BIRTH is awesome! The animation style and the hair metal is peak 80s but the world building is so well done! It’s a tight 50 minutes of storytelling with a really solid premise and a great narrative progression from high school bullying drama to balls out carnage candy!

Last May I set out to watch as much anime as I could. I lovingly named this season ‘Anime May’ or #AniMay as some were calling it 😅 This year I want to do the same but as well as feature films I also want to check out series as they are mostly a blind spot for me. Who’s with me?
