@comicdudedc That cover is by Esad Ribic. Mahmud Asrar does interiors. Here are some examples:
Solomon Kane is from Devonshire, England. The Baskervilles of Baskerville Hall have been in Devonshire for centuries. The Puritan slayer of evil, a foggy moor, a deadly mire, and a monstrous phantom hound? This REH/ACD crossover practically writes itself!
An incredibly dark take on the Dickens classic. I liked it a lot. The f-bombs absolutely added nothing to it though. It takes you out of the setting. I’m not a prude trying to stifle free expression, but it is only there because they could. Restraint can be the better choice.
@NOLA_bert Cover images aren’t showing the AOC banner. It would kind of be false advertising anyway as she is from 16th century France rather than the “Age of Conan,” and there isn’t a time travel element in this story as far as I know.
(14) Whose Robert E. Howard adaptation do you prefer?
“The Hour of the Dragon” - Marvel’s Roy Thomas, Gil Kane, and John Buscema’s OR Dark Horse’s Timothy Truman and Tomás Giorello’s?
While I wish comic book sales were up all around, I don’t know if it should be encouraging to Conan fans or if Iron Man fans just really don’t care for his comic at the moment. But two Conan titles outsold an insanely popular character like Iron Man’s regular title last month.
(11) Whose Robert E. Howard adaptation do you prefer?
“The Jewels of Gwahlur” (“The Servants of Bit-Yakin”)- Marvel’s Roy Thomas and Dick Giordano’s OR Dark Horse’s P. Craig Russell’s?
Exactly what legal entity actually owns the character of Red Sonja? What’s the backstory on how she and Conan became separated?
