I was looking through the Previews catalog only to find out that there’s a graphic novel coming out written by @jakewyattriot and drawn and colored by Choo, both of whom I like a whole lot! THE WELL looks gorgeous and I can’t wait to read it come April. What a lovely surprise.
Really enjoyed METHODS OF DYEING, the latest ISMYRE book. This series is a delight, always allowing Mure to stretch different storytelling muscles, and this one is no different—a fun little investigation story, with stunning art as usual.
Loved the first issue of WE RIDE TITANS. It’s a really strong character piece that employs its surroundings and premise in a really lovely way, with some gorgeous art to boot. The whole team cooked up something incredibly cool, and I’m sure it’ll only get better. @treswritesstuff
Man, HOME SICK PILOTS really is one of the best comics coming out right now. I just finished the second arc after adoring the first one, and I just love this book a lot—it’s propulsive and charming and immensely rad, and just stunning to look at. Good comic. @adityab @hellomuller
Really quite adored JEREMIAH by Cathy G. Johnson. A gorgeous little book about the bits of normalcy that you cling onto like peeling wallpaper even though you know they’re not real, and the price of tearing them off and seeing what’s underneath. Beautiful writing with lovely art.
I was excited to read HAHA, and it was a whole lot of fun to read. I like Prince’s work on ICE CREAM MAN a lot, and this book was no different, with a lovely range of styles by some excellent artists, all pulled together by the excellent @ChrisOHalloran’s colors. @zoethorogood
I think I found out about Alex Degen's SOFT X-RAY/MINDHUNTERS from @AlexPaknadel a few years ago, and having finally read it I am speechless. A strange wonder of a book, loud and lively and absolutely gorgeous, with a delightfully odd story about the decay of the real. Love it.
Really excited about STEP BY BLOODY STEP, launching in February. I'm a big fan of the whole team, together and apart, and the format of four double-sized fully silent issues sounds like a fun, rad stylistic and formal exercise.
