I was excited to read HAHA, and it was a whole lot of fun to read. I like Prince’s work on ICE CREAM MAN a lot, and this book was no different, with a lovely range of styles by some excellent artists, all pulled together by the excellent @ChrisOHalloran’s colors. @zoethorogood
I think I found out about Alex Degen's SOFT X-RAY/MINDHUNTERS from @AlexPaknadel a few years ago, and having finally read it I am speechless. A strange wonder of a book, loud and lively and absolutely gorgeous, with a delightfully odd story about the decay of the real. Love it.
Really excited about STEP BY BLOODY STEP, launching in February. I'm a big fan of the whole team, together and apart, and the format of four double-sized fully silent issues sounds like a fun, rad stylistic and formal exercise.
SHADES OF FEAR is among the most exciting anthologies to appear in a long time—@AllisonMOToole & @ashantifortson curate a stunning line-up which deserves the light of day.

Finally got a chance to sit down with @juni_ba’s DJELIYA, which is a delight of a book. It’s a propulsive, heady, immensely charming little meditation on how we engage with our pasts and how we use them to shape our futures, with a really strong voice and outstanding cartooning.
my hot Batman take for the Discourse is that we were robbed of BATMAN: KINGDOM OF THE MAD by Gerard Way, that book would have been rad as hell and I would still like to read it
Ah, an excellent birthday to @kierongillen! Kieron is one of my favorite writers in comics; consistently astounding in his consideration and grasp of comics and storytelling, with a really lovely range, as well as a lovely person to talk to. He's good, imho!
Thinking about how @AnnieKoyama published some of the all-time best comics. I admittedly only got really into Koyama Press in 2021, so I haven’t read all the books I want, but I’ve been buying whatever I can get my hands on and every book I’ve read is a staggering achievement.
