#130 Marie Antoinette
A major blow to Marie’s reputation in the eyes of France was the Affair of the Diamond Necklace, which was commissioned for Louis XV’s mistress. When he didn’t pay, the Crown jewelers tried to sell it to Marie and when she refused, forged her signature.
#129 Artoria Pendragon
One of the earliest locations associated with Arthur is Tintagel Castle in Cornwall, where Arthur was supposedly conceived between Igraine and Uther (disguised as Igraine’s husband). Today it boasts impressive ruins and a beautiful view of the ocean.

#126 Bedivere
Another one of Arthur’s oldest comrades, Bedivere appears in both old Welsh tales and the Lives of Saints. He was always disabled, but still a peerless knight as referenced in Pa Gur where he is mentioned to have killed 100 men under the command of a werewolf.
#124 Hassan of Serenity
The Order of Assassins made their base the castle of Alamut, a castle in modern Iran that was thought to be impenetrable. Supposedly, the castle was a heaven of knowledge, science, debate, and beautiful gardens. Today, it is a tourist destination.
#123 Gawain
In contrast to Gawain and Tristan, Gawain is one of the oldest members of the Round Table and appears in the earliest Welsh tales about Arthur under the name Gwalchmei. His character changes drastically over the centuries, from a perfect knight to kind of a buffoon.
