Beta Seel:
Seel's Gen 1 beta sprite shows a very different seal design. Dewgong probably wasn't created until much later, as no evidence of a Dewgong beta sprite has ever been discovered.

Dr Lava Videos:
Wanted to let y'all know I made a playlist of all the videos I worked on for other channels. A few collabs I did with @Lockstin, and some videos I wrote and/or hosted for Did You Know Gaming. Half Pokemon, half other Nintendo games: https://t.co/qlkIp0Hq7I
@pokesupe29 @RacieBeep @Kr0nn1cK There's usually more than one way to interpret a sprite, but Racie used depictions like this one to guide her when she made this artwork.
@ScorpioKing1183 @Amoridere @sukajanryuko Lol that's not my wife btw, that's google images. Point is, it was a thing millennia ago, and it's still a thing today, though not as much. It ain't my tradition or culture, but I'm not gonna move to a country with 6000 years of history & expect them to adapt to my sensibilities.
Beta Rhyhorn:
When Rhyhorn was first created in the early 90's, its original design was a lot smoother all over -- in fact, it almost looks like it could've been its own baby form.

Golbat's Lost Tongue:
Golbat's Red & Blue sprite had a huge drooling tongue, which could also be seen in his Pokemon Stadium model. However, his tongue was never seen again after Battle Revolution in 2006.

Beta Sunflora:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Sunflora was an unevolved Grass/Psychic Pokemon named "Sanii" (Sunny). But it later got redesigned, renamed, and given Sunkern as a pre-evolution.

Beta Delibird:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Delibird was originally Water/Ice type and named "Gifuto" (Gift). But he was later renamed, revised to Ice/Flying, and made less Santa-like.

Beta Rhydon:
As one of the first 3 Pokemon ever created -- probably THE first, actually -- Rhydon's original 1990 design was a little different to how he ended up in Gen 1's final build.
