Daisuke Kikuchi did an amazing work for Gurren Lagann and later on Hokago no Pleiades with his image boards, serving for blueprints of some of the best scenes in the actual anime.

His work was displayed on Gurren Lagann ED for ep.16

Daisuke Kikuchi made famous for his work on Gurren Lagann image boards, has provided a really cool illustration for another of Gainax side projects with their homepage : "Music is SF". The idea was simple combine an illustration with a song someone deemed Syfy-ish.
