Nancy moved from brunette to not-quite-blonde in two more takes from the Richee session. The photos may have been used for Manhattan Cocktail (1928), a Paramount film that played up her former showgirl beginnings.

While Autrey took more traditional portraits and fashion photos of Marguerite when she was newly signed at Fox, he also found her to be an extraordinary model for more dramatic imagery. This photo was published in New Movie Magazine, 1930:
