Iron Man 2020 (2020) #6
Tony helps his brother Arno Stark prepare to stop the end of all human and artificial life as we know it. Writers Christos N. Gage & Dan Slott, Artist Pete Woods: I found the conclusion of this series to be nearly as unpleasant as its namesake year. 2.5/5
The Amazing Spider-Man (2018) #47
Sin Eater gathers a posse. Writer Nick Spencer, Penciler Marcelo Ferreira, Inker Roberto Poggi, Colorist David Curiel: A gang of masked men ready to do violence, hits pretty close to home. 3.5/5
Valkyrie: Jane Foster (2019) #10
Thor’s brother Tyr, has brought The Røkkva, the end of all life, to Asgard. Writers Jason Aaron & Torunn GrØnbekk, Artist Ramon Rosanas, Colorist Jesus Aburtov: An astonishingly epic finale to this series and a fitting beginning for more. 5/5
@shakinshaner @ComicsintheGA I agree completely with Mike in recommending the Comico series of Jonny Quest comics from the mid-80s. If you can find them, the best are the three issues of Jonny Quest Classics (1987), all written and drawn by Doug Wildey adapting three JQ episodes!
X-Force (2019) #11
Russian biological “nesting dolls” infiltrate Krakoa. Writer Benjamin Percy, Artist Jan Bazaldua, Colorist GURU-eFX: Percy’s inventiveness for chaos is a delight. I’m always pleased when Colossus gets the spotlight. 4/5

Captain America (2018) #21
Cap and his partners Bucky and Sam break cover to fight Selene head on. Writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, Artist Bob Quinn, Colorist Matt Milla: Coates does a nice job showing the tenacity of Cap against overwhelming odds, with some good action sequences. 3.5/5
Tales to Astonish (Dec.-1966) #86
Banner saves the city and the Hulk saves himself in "The Birth of... The Hulk-Killer!" Script Stan Lee, Penciler John Buscema, Inker Mike Esposito: Lee hones the tragic element of the Hulk well, while Buscema drives home his unbridled power. 4/5
