As “Coal Face – The Devil in the Smoke” finally has it’s release today. I thought that it would be fun to open up my twitter to you all to ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS about the book, the background to the story and its development and ideas.

So, please, ask away. But no spoilers. :)

It’s recognisably Moebius but he has adapted his styling to fit the style and tone of the story.

I bet the little original paintings would look wonderful framed and put on display in sequential order.

Moebius - “The Alchemist.”

I love the many little painted illustrations from this book.

“Coal Face – The Devil in the Smoke.”

A fantastical faustian monster story set against a backdrop of social strife, absent parents, escapism and video games.

A morally complex fantasy adventure for young adults and older readers alike.

- Global release. March 6th. Via Amazon.

Taking some time out of tweeting for a couple of days, but…

As I seem to be falling down a Fellini rabbit hole, can anyone in the know tell me what the best book on Fellini and his films is?

I have the John Baxter book but what would other books come highly recommended?

Thank you the continued support, likes and retweets for “Coal Face – The Devil in the Smoke.”

It’s been a rocky few months for me personally but your support and comments have made me very happy.

I look forward to sharing the book with you all on March 6th.

The irony of having just written and illustrated a book about unemployment during a cost of living crisis while the protagonists dream of escape by making video games is not lost on me.

Living the dream - so to speak. Well, they do say ‘write about what you know.’

Oh dear.

I’m sure we talked about a sort of 70’s era ‘Blaxploitation’ image of the Doctor - obviously in the most positive sense of the world for those that are not aware of such an underground diverse genre of cinema back in the day. :)

Love it.
