Of course, Arale manages to bust the moon without ki blasts. But she’s special.
The talking dolphin is one of those Dr. Slump-y elements that gradually drop out of the series (in Japanese it ends its sentences with イルカ as a pun on dolphin). Even with the helpful dolphin, the speed with which they track down Roshi makes the world seem kinda small.
Listening to @wakamatsuken’s Dragon Ball Reread podcast cover volume 2, and of course Oolong’s line is always a highlight. We should all ask Oolong for stock tips.
While I’m fixing typos, here’s that Olivue/Karin fan comic with dialogue properly labeled. Thanks to @IamaUnihorn6 for pointing out I’d originally labeled the last two lines as coming from Karin rather than Olivue and vice-versa. Anyway, I love this thing. https://t.co/jUeRvyt1z7

On the southern end of U7, the hero Papoi is the greatest hero of the last 2,000 years (thanks to another Funi sub mistake, this is reduced to 1,000 years). We’re not told what he did either, but it was probably great!
It’s not specified when Olivue lived either, but we might lazily assume it was several thousand years ago like with Migoren and Sate. On the other hand, if he’s less than 800 years old, it would make this possible... https://t.co/jUeRvyt1z7
