Another one I totally assumed was Fraction that might have actually been Lee Allred. I love the messed up imaginary man-shark.
Fraction and Allred's take on Maximus The Mad is terrific and makes me really curious what Inhumans by Fraction would have been like if he and Marvel hadn't fallen out over it.
Gonna have to go back and read that era of Inhumans comics again sometime.
The alien that keeps Julius Caesar's body alive crosses over from his appearance in the core series to help the FF rescue the F4 from another dimension, and uses an invitation to a pool party as a ruse to meet them.
Wait, doesn't the FF have their own pool? Whatever. Comics.
Is this the best cover of the series?
Probably.
Not enough comics do beach party/baseball/swimsuit issues anymore.
We all know Doom doesn't need these guns, but seriously how cool is this?
13 is when Karl Kesel takes over to finish the run. The final storyline ties in well to FF's conclusion and events of that series, but feels like a tonal shift and a bit of a stretch as related to the rest of this run.
Killer page here, though.
